Quite simply - great friendly service! He took all my details when my bikes got stolen and was really helpful. Ive been back a couple times now as i always value good customer experience when buying certain things - and I trust that I will be treated well there and get honest advice/help. Recently bought CO2 inflators and got them cheaper than elsewhere - I now have jealous friends!!
Superb. Really friendly and helpful. Got my road bike road-ready after a winter / spring of neglect for a great price. I am now a return customer and would definitely recommend. Showed more interest in me than Halfords, so will be going back there for my kids' bikes in future.
Done in a day! Brought my bike in to see if they could fix the issue I was having with my gears catching/skipping, within 24 hours it was ready to be collected. Not only did they fix the issue for a very small price but they also tightened up my brakes and pumped up my tires without me even asking. Took first bike there a few years ago, needed new gears and chain......bike was done same day. Rode bike home and gears would slip, took back and he tightened up the cable adjustment barrel which solved that gear, but the other 20 were rubbing and slipping. Ended up fixing my self. Second bike I took there needed new gears, once again job done that day.....same problem with gears and didn't even get half way home before I went back and he did the same and adjusted the cable adjustment barrel and said with new chains its normal for them to skip and jump. No it's not, it's because he rushed to get the job done and paid to go ruin someone elses bike, also claimed to have had a look at my brakes and tightened them up, so much there is no simple braking. The first down hill I'd have gone down would have resulted in the bike stopping dead and me flying over the handle bars. He is also my only local bike shop which I will never be using again. You want your bike looking at, I'd go elsewhere!!Had to award 1 star as I couldn't post with zero.....although he can have one star for screwing on new gears I suppose.....
